CLASSICAL MUSIC
Free summer performances by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra are a treat. In addition, colleges and churches are veritable oases of live classical music, with performances free of charge or at prices that compete with movie admissions. A particularly golden oasis are the stunning palatial new facilities of the Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music, featuring occasional free musical events.
