There are dozens in the metro area. Thousands of people are shopping consignment and saving a lot of money. They're people on a budget-- trying to raise kids-- who need to look professional on the job. Dress for Less is filled with plenty of colors, sizes, and styles for men. Eighty-percent of the store's inventory is from $88 to $128. There are big names suits like Hart, Shaffer and Marx, Armani, Hugo Boss. You'll find shorts and jeans that are refugees from sample sales. Ties and belt- most for $12. Dress for less is in Denver, on 3045 South Broadway. Persnickety's is located on the corner of Old Wadsworth and Yale. It's the big orange house- once the summer home of the famous Molly Brown. It's now a woman's consignment shop, a place filled with gently used clothing at discount prices. There are belts, blouses and blazers. You'll find brand names clothes such as Jones New York, Anne Klein, and DKNY. Jewelry starts at $.99 and designer shoes for $15.
